Construction Engineer

The Construction Engineer is responsible for supporting project execution through detailed coordination, documentation management, compliance tracking, and proactive problem-solving. This role ensures projects are properly prepared, compliant, and delivered on schedule by managing contracts, submittals, logistics, and regulatory requirements while identifying and resolving scope, scheduling, and documentation issues.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Project Documentation & Install Packages

  • Prepare, assemble, and distribute complete installation packets for field teams.
  • Ensure install packets include drawings, specifications, permits, schedules, and safety requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records.
  • Verify that all documentation aligns with contract requirements and approved changes.

Change Orders & Scope Management

  • Review, prepare, and track change orders from initiation through approval and billing.
  • Identify missing, unclear, or conflicting scope items and coordinate resolution.
  • Work with project managers, sales, and clients to document scope changes.
  • Ensure all changes are properly authorized and reflected in project documents.

Contracts, Insurance & Bonds

  • Review and manage project contracts and subcontract agreements.
  • Coordinate and track Certificates of Insurance (COI) for all required parties.
  • Obtain, review, and maintain required performance and payment bonds.
  • Ensure all contractual and insurance requirements are met prior to project start.

Compliance & Regulatory Requirements (L&I & LP Tracker)

  • Manage and track Labor & Industries (L&I) requirements and documentation.
  • Utilize LP Tracker to upload, review, and maintain certified payroll, compliance records, and labor reporting.
  • Monitor prevailing wage compliance through LP Tracker.
  • Coordinate inspections, permits, and regulatory approvals.
  • Ensure projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations.

Shipping, Logistics & Materials Tracking

  • Track material and equipment shipments from order through delivery.
  • Notify project teams of shipment status, delays, and delivery schedules.
  • Coordinate receiving, storage, and site delivery logistics.
  • Resolve shipping issues to minimize project impact.

Schedule Management & Risk Reduction

  • Monitor project schedules and identify potential delays.
  • Proactively coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to reduce schedule slips.
  • Support recovery plans for delayed materials, approvals, or installations.
  • Communicate schedule risks and mitigation strategies to project leadership.

Communication & Coordination

  • Serve as a central coordination point between engineering, project management, field teams, vendors, and clients.
  • Provide timely updates on documentation, logistics, and compliance status.
  • Support project meetings and reporting requirements.
  • Maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Education and Training

  • Strong knowledge of construction documentation, contracts, and compliance processes.
  • Familiarity with L&I requirements and prevailing wage regulations (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.

The Sales Representative plays a key role in bringing inspiring parks and playgrounds to life for cities, schools, park districts, childcare centers, and neighborhoods. This position is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience while developing turnkey recreation solutions from concept to completion. Through relationship-building, thoughtful prospecting, and strong project coordination, the Sales Representative helps grow the assigned territory and contributes directly to the company’s continued success.

  • Build and maintain strong knowledge of products, vendors, and services to confidently guide customers to the best solutions
  • Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting, lead generation, and relationship building

Compensation

Compensation for this position varies based on the selected candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications. This role is designed with growth in mind; after approximately 1–2 years, the Sales Representative is expected to transition to a full commission-based compensation structure, reflecting performance, territory development, and long-term earning potential.

Project Coordinator/CAD Designer

A Project Coordinator is responsible for designing turnkey parks and playgrounds throughout the Western United States by building a space that encourages outdoor play for all ages. A Project Coordinator will use research, design principles, and innovative products to build an area that will last within the communities we serve.   • Utilize ADA requirements to design fun, safe, and compliant play areas on CAD
  • Maintain daily communication with vendors and sales representatives
  • Review and implement Project Request Forms
  • Request quotes from vendors on assigned projects
  • Read and accurately complete bid documents
  • Take detailed notes and stay on task
  • Ensure projects are within scope and within budget
  • Accurately input pricing and detailed descriptions to generate proposals for customers
  • Act as an information source regarding assigned projects
  • Complete all other tasks assigned by the supervisor

Required Skills

A Project Coordinator must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. A typical day could entail designing a custom project in CAD, quoting products, and reviewing bid documents to meet the RFP. A Project Coordinator must manage their time and meet deadlines.  A candidate must understand CAD and be able to read CAD drawings. Problem-solving and attention to detail are a must to succeed in this position.

Education and Training

The Project Coordinator should possess a High School Diploma, or equivalent, or 2+ years of AutoCAD experience, or a combination of both education and experience.

This position involves a variety of physical activities, including talking, hearing, and repetitive motions. Visual acuity is required for analyzing records.

A Bid Specialist must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Have excellent industry knowledge and a willingness to keep up with trends. Education and Training

The Administrative Assistant should possess a High School Diploma, or equivalent, or 2+ years of office assistance experience, or a combination of education and experience.
